Responsibility
- Lead and optimize assembly processes in external manufacturing facilities to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve production yields.
- Develop and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and drive corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to external manufacturing partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and process transfers to external manufacturers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor assembly or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with external manufacturers or suppliers in a technical capacity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Proficient in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as needed.
