Responsibility
- Lead and manage all export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade laws.
- Develop and implement export strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks in global supply chains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, legal) to ensure alignment on export policies and customer requirements.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to secure competitive rates and service levels.
- Monitor and report on export performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure adherence to INCOTERMS, export controls, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, WCO).
- Build and maintain relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners to expand market presence.
- Stay updated on global trade trends, tariffs, and sanctions to proactively adjust strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in export management, preferably in the manufacturing, logistics, or intralogistics sector.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
- Proven track record in negotiating with freight providers and managing export compliance programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, German) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
