Responsibility
- Develop and implement export strategies to expand the company’s international market presence.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely and compliant export shipments.
- Manage documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, ensuring accuracy and compliance with trade regulations.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to optimize export logistics and reduce costs.
- Monitor international trade laws, tariffs, and restrictions to ensure full compliance with local and global regulations.
- Negotiate contracts with overseas clients, distributors, and partners to secure favorable terms and long-term business relationships.
- Analyze export data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
- Resolve any export-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, or compliance violations, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in export management, international trade, or logistics, preferably in the manufacturing or transport sector.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, export documentation software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to compliance and accuracy.
