In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, optimizing supply chain processes, and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across borders. Your expertise in customs documentation, tariff classifications, and logistics coordination will be instrumental in supporting our global expansion.

Responsibility

  • Manage and process all export and import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and free trade agreements (FTAs).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines to facilitate timely and cost-effective logistics.
  • Classify products according to Harmonized System (HS) codes and determine applicable duties and taxes.
  • Monitor and resolve any customs or trade compliance issues, including audits or disputes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce lead times and minimize costs.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports on export-import activities, trade metrics, and compliance status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in export-import operations, customs compliance, or global logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international trade regulations, including customs procedures and documentation.
  • Proficiency in HS code classification and familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Indonesian.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
