Responsibility
- Lead and supervise all export-import operations, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee the preparation and verification of all EXIM documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to secure favorable terms and timely deliveries.
- Monitor and resolve any delays or issues in the shipment process, ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, finance, and sales) to align EXIM activities with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, shipments, and communications for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and industry trends to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in export-import operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proven track record in logistics planning, negotiation, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex shipment issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global partners, customs authorities, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
