Responsibility
- Prepare and craft high-quality sauces, dressings, and marinades according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients to support kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of sauces and ingredients, and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to minimize waste and maintain consistency.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist in other kitchen tasks as needed to support team goals.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism in all kitchen activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sauce maker, line cook, or kitchen assistant in a professional kitchen (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of sauce preparation techniques, flavor balancing, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy kitchen equipment (up to 20 kg).
- Familiarity with Indonesian or international cuisine is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication in a multicultural kitchen.
