Responsibility
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and ensure their comfort throughout their dining experience.
- Present menus, explain specials, and make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate orders, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks.
- Anticipate guest needs, including refilling water, clearing plates, and addressing any requests promptly.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with diplomacy and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including setting tables, polishing silverware, and restocking supplies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a waiter in a fine-dining, hotel, or high-volume restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, menu items, and service techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, processing payments, and managing cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality training is a plus but not required.
