Responsibility
- Operate and monitor stamping machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications.
- Perform machine setups, including die changes, adjustments, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to resolve production disruptions efficiently.
- Monitor production output and quality, making real-time adjustments to maintain consistency and precision.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement process improvements and reduce waste.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document production data, maintenance logs, and incident reports for continuous process optimization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Stamping Technician or in a similar role within metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, or servo-driven stamping presses.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and quality control standards.
- Hands-on experience with die setting, tooling adjustments, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems to diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical engineering, machining, or a related field is a plus.
