Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests professionally, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently, adhering to established service standards and timelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with diplomacy and prompt resolution.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems or cash handling procedures.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events, shifts, or special occasions.
- Uphold company policies, hygiene standards, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within hospitality, restaurants, or hotels.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings (preferred).
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., trays, supplies).
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Valid health certificate (if applicable) and willingness to comply with local regulations.
