Responsibility

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service to guests in our restaurant, skybar, lounge, or club lounge, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining or nightlife experience.
  • Take and process food and beverage orders with accuracy, upselling premium items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and support teams to ensure timely and flawless execution of orders, adhering to Cé La Vi’s high standards of quality.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations, to provide expert guidance to guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism, diplomacy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in all service areas, including tables, glassware, and utensils.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Contribute to the venue’s success by actively participating in pre-shift meetings, briefings, and post-service debriefs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including responsible alcohol service and cash handling.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Server in high-volume restaurants, bars, lounges, or nightlife venues, preferably in a luxury or upscale setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, with a focus on anticipating and exceeding guest needs.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine, cocktails, and fine dining etiquette.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to upholding the brand’s image and values.
  • Valid food handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain one (training provided if necessary).
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling is highly desirable.
