Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, using our POS system efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments, ensuring all transactions are secure and error-free.
- Assist with reservations, walk-ins, and special requests to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including dining tables, service stations, and cashier counters.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up dining areas and reconciling daily sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a server, cashier, or front-of-house role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating change.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
