Responsibility
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation, utilizing databases and legal libraries.
- Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and court calendars, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups.
- Liaise with clients, witnesses, and external parties to gather information, schedule meetings, and facilitate communication.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including compiling evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client and case information in accordance with legal ethics.
- Coordinate with courts, government agencies, and other legal entities to process filings and retrieve documents.
- Provide administrative support, such as scheduling, billing, and maintaining legal databases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to draft clear and professional correspondence.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
- Familiarity with case management software and electronic filing systems is a plus.
- Degree or certification in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field is preferred.
