Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy machinery and implement effective repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime on construction sites.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs to reduce the risk of equipment failure and extend machinery lifespan.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to prioritize repair tasks based on operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics or equipment operators when needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in construction machinery.
- Familiarity with a wide range of construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel between job sites across Bali.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining digital records and using diagnostic software.
- Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as required by project demands.
