Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective Mandarin language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels (HSK 1-6).
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Hua Yu’s curriculum and student learning objectives.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and conversational evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Incorporate interactive teaching methods, including role-playing, multimedia, and cultural activities to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- Participate in teacher training programs and professional development workshops.
- Maintain accurate student attendance and performance records.
- Promote a supportive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK 6 or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mandarin (experience with international students is a plus).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
- Familiarity with HSK standards and exam preparation is highly desirable.
- Passion for language education and cultural exchange.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- TEFL, TESOL, or Mandarin teaching certification (advantageous but not mandatory).
