Responsibility
- Operate lorry cranes safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport heavy materials, equipment, or goods.
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the crane and vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all local and national regulations for heavy vehicle and crane operations, including weight limits and route restrictions.
- Coordinate with ground crew, logistics teams, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of operations, including fuel consumption, maintenance needs, and delivery records.
- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on the crane and lorry to prevent downtime.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including proper rigging, signaling, and load securing techniques.
- Assist in warehouse or site operations as needed, including material sorting and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s license with a crane operation certification (e.g., CCO, NCCCO, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating lorry cranes or similar heavy equipment in logistics, construction, or manufacturing.
- Proven knowledge of crane mechanics, load capacity calculations, and rigging techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and ability to work in confined or high-traffic areas.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and clients.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including climbing, lifting, and operating controls for extended periods.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads, industrial zones, and logistics hubs is a plus.
