Responsibility

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency across all dishes served.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Control inventory, manage food costs, and minimize waste through effective planning and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including budget tracking, cost analysis, and profit margins.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record in kitchen operations, staff management, and food quality control.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and HACCP principles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, etc.) are a plus.
