Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment (e.g., grinders, espresso machines, blenders) to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Monitor and restock inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report low stock levels to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area, including counters, tools, and storage spaces.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or special requests.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal or promotional drink menus and suggest innovative coffee pairings.
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols to comply with health regulations.
- Assist in training new baristas and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista (minimum 1-2 years) in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in drink presentation and consistency.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
