Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Perform inbound and outbound logistics tasks, including receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using tally systems and ensure stock levels are updated in real-time.
- Organize and stack goods in designated storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and OSHA standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory audits as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a forklift operator or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license (preferred).
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse inventory management and tally systems.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and safety instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and stack heavy goods as needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
