Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, containers, and rail cars following established procedures
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to security and compliance
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification from a recognized training provider
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record keeping
- Physical ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
