Responsibility
- Design and create custom floral arrangements, including wreaths, bouquets, casket sprays, and sympathy baskets, tailored to client requests and cultural traditions.
- Collaborate with funeral directors and families to understand their vision and deliver personalized, high-quality floral tributes.
- Source, select, and maintain fresh, seasonal flowers and foliage, ensuring optimal quality and longevity for all arrangements.
- Manage inventory of floral supplies, tools, and materials, including ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Provide expert consultations to clients on floral design options, color schemes, and symbolic meanings for different occasions.
- Prepare and set up floral displays for funeral services, memorials, and events, ensuring timely and flawless execution.
- Stay updated on floral design trends, techniques, and sustainable practices to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience as a Florist, preferably in funeral or event floral design.
- Proven portfolio showcasing creative, high-quality floral arrangements for various occasions.
- Strong knowledge of flower types, care, and handling, including tropical and exotic varieties common in Bali.
- Excellent color theory, composition, and design skills with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment.
- Superb customer service and communication skills to interact with grieving families with empathy and professionalism.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy arrangements (up to 20 kg), and work with sharp tools.
- Familiarity with Bali’s cultural and religious customs related to floral tributes is a plus.
