Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering designs to create precise and scalable drafts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or design changes.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of project timelines, material lists, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical support to construction teams by clarifying design details and resolving discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drafter in the construction or architectural industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
