Responsibility
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control standards.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure smooth clinic workflow.
- Order and organize dental supplies, maintaining inventory levels.
- Provide chairside support during restorative, surgical, and cosmetic procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (fresh graduates with training may be considered).
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant dental hygiene qualification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA/patient privacy standards.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
