Responsibility
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify product accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and engineering drawings to program and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce material waste.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Document production data, including machine settings, output quantities, and quality metrics, for reporting and process improvement.
- Train and assist junior technicians or operators in best practices for CNC machine operation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Technician or Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, or multi-axis machines) using G-code and M-code.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and precision measurement tools.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Mastercam, Fusion 360) is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC machinery, including tool changes, calibration, and lubrication.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and ISO standards is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic proficiency in English (verbal and written) for clear communication with team members and supervisors.
