Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee (espresso, pour-over, cold brew, etc.) with consistency and precision.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and café area to uphold hygiene and aesthetic standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking coffee bean stock, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, including order taking, cash handling, and food service support.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, resolving any issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Participate in team training and development sessions to improve service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a café, specialty coffee shop, or similar environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience is advantageous.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (morning, afternoon, or evening).
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards is a must.
