Responsibility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Process and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Support the Accounting Supervisor in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax documents and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements in the Philippines or Indonesia is advantageous.
