Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to Anantara’s standards and recipes.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend personalized drink selections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to develop seasonal cocktail menus and promotional drink specials.
- Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, age verification policies, and responsible alcohol service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and creating memorable interactions.
- Assist in training new staff on mixology techniques, bar operations, and service standards.
- Handle cash transactions and POS systems accurately while maintaining financial accountability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-end hotel, resort, or upscale bar.
- Proven knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, spirits, and wine pairings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is preferred.
- Creative mindset with a passion for mixology and staying updated on industry trends.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
