As a Bartender, you’ll work in high-energy environments—from beachfront bars to upscale lounges—where your expertise in mixology and guest interaction will shine. Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails, mocktails, and classic drinks, adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations based on preferences and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate POS systems accurately to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage guest tabs efficiently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless coordination during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new mixology techniques, and seasonal ingredients to innovate and enhance the drink menu.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, including verifying guest age and monitoring consumption to ensure safety.
- Assist in training new bartenders and barbacks, sharing knowledge and best practices to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or Barback is preferred, but fresh graduates with a passion for hospitality are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage pairings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse guests in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and bar equipment (e.g., shakers, blenders, draft systems).
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Japanese, Russian) are advantageous.
