Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Tealive’s standards and recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage cash transactions, handle POS systems, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, tea leaves, syrups, and other ingredients, and report shortages to the management team.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the café, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas.
- Assist in training new baristas and support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new beverage recipes, and customer preferences to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within a café or hospitality setting.
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, tea preparation, and latte art is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
