Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Tealive's standards
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
- Create visually appealing drink presentations with latte art and garnishing techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders and handling transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage preparation area
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a café or coffee shop environment
- Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing techniques
- Familiarity with tea preparation and different brewing methods
- Basic understanding of coffee beans, origins, and flavor profiles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
