Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including equipment and inventory.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor and restock supplies, including coffee beans, syrups, and milk, to avoid shortages.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings based on customer feedback and trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a coffee shop, café, or similar F&B establishment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders), and milk steaming.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
- Creative flair for latte art and presentation (a plus but not required).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control.
- Fluency in English; additional knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
