Responsibility
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients, corporate entities, and institutional partners to understand their financial needs and objectives.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert financial advice and solutions, including investment strategies, risk management, and capital structuring, tailored to client requirements.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, including cross-selling and upselling financial products and services.
- Deal Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of complex financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, economic shifts, and competitive landscapes to position Standard Chartered as a market leader.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Product Development) to deliver seamless client experiences and innovative solutions.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and optimize client portfolios to maximize returns while mitigating risks, ensuring alignment with their long-term goals.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular performance reports, financial forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior relationship management or business development role within banking or wealth management.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks in APAC, particularly Indonesia.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-stakes negotiations, manage client portfolios, and drive revenue growth in a competitive environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Networking: Established network of high-net-worth clients, corporate leaders, or institutional investors in Southeast Asia.
- Compliance: Familiarity with AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements in global banking.
