Responsibility

  • Develop and refine seasonal menus that align with Tastynity’s brand and exceed guest expectations.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste across all dishes, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, cost control, and supplier negotiations to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the F&B management team to plan events, promotions, and special dining experiences.
  • Monitor food trends and local ingredients to incorporate innovative, sustainable, and locally sourced options.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all kitchen activities.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any culinary-related concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in high-end restaurants, resorts, or hotels.
  • Proven ability to manage a large kitchen team and operate under high-pressure environments.
  • Deep knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety standards (HACCP certification is a plus).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation and menu development.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
