Responsibility
- Assist in the planning and execution of higher education events, including seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue bookings, catering, and equipment setup.
- Liaise with vendors, speakers, and attendees to ensure smooth event operations.
- Manage event registrations, RSVP tracking, and attendee communications.
- Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials and social media content.
- Provide on-site assistance during events, including setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
- Maintain event documentation, including budgets, timelines, and post-event reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align events with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event coordination or assistance, preferably in education or corporate settings.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with higher education environments is a plus.
