Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on electric buses and trucks to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on EV systems, including batteries, motors, and charging components.
- Test and verify the functionality of repaired vehicles to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in hybrid and fully electric 4-wheel vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices in EV technology.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with exposure to electric or hybrid vehicles.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, particularly in buses and trucks.
- Familiarity with EV components such as batteries, inverters, and electric motors is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
