As an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost projections, efficient resource allocation, and seamless project execution. Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and analyze project specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project expenditures and compare actual costs with budgeted amounts to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and review contract documents, including tender submissions, bills of quantities, and contract agreements.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to negotiate prices and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Provide regular reports on project costs, progress, and financial performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or contract administration within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local regulations and building codes in Indonesia is a plus.
