Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor ESH policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventive measures.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on ESH best practices and emergency response protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESH considerations into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and report on ESH performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to continuously improve ESH standards.
- Foster a culture of safety and sustainability through leadership and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESH management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local and international ESH regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and influence teams to achieve ESH objectives.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Proficiency in ESH management systems and reporting tools.
