Responsibility
- Execute equity trades efficiently and accurately in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and retail clients, providing tailored financial solutions.
- Monitor market trends, analyze equity performance, and provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with research and sales teams to develop and execute trading strategies that maximize client returns.
- Ensure seamless trade settlements, reconciliations, and reporting to maintain operational excellence.
- Stay updated on global and regional economic developments, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting equity capital markets.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Represent Mercury Securities at industry events, webinars, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in equity trading, capital markets, or a related role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, trading mechanisms, and financial instruments (e.g., stocks, ETFs, derivatives).
- Proficiency in trading platforms, Bloomberg Terminal, or other financial data tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with Southeast Asian financial markets and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
- Certifications such as CFA, Series 7, or equivalent are a strong plus.
