Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibration of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and address urgent repair needs.
- Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and equipment history records.
- Recommend and oversee equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company standards during all maintenance operations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or similar is advantageous.
