As an EHS Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant work environment. Responsibility
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and report on environmental metrics, including waste management, emissions, and energy consumption.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal requirements.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to integrate safety measures into daily workflows.
- Support emergency preparedness initiatives, including drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid response.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or other EHS standards and local Indonesian regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS software is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or First Aid/CPR are highly desirable.
