Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor environmental compliance programs to adhere to local, national, and international regulations.
- Oversee pollution control measures, including air, water, and soil quality management, to mitigate environmental risks.
- Manage waste disposal systems, ensuring proper segregation, treatment, and recycling in accordance with sustainability best practices.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary environmental permits, licenses, and certifications for farm operations.
- Conduct regular environmental audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations and long-term strategies.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Educate and train employees on environmental policies, safety protocols, and eco-friendly procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, pollution control, or waste management, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian environmental laws and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Proven experience in securing environmental permits and conducting compliance audits.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with regulatory agencies and internal teams.
- Proficiency in environmental monitoring tools, data analysis software, and report writing.
- Certification in Environmental Management Systems (EMS) or similar is highly desirable.
