Responsibility
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies with professionalism and empathy
- Provide accurate information about healthcare services, benefits, and procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Process healthcare-related transactions including appointment scheduling, claims inquiries, and benefit verifications
- Document all interactions in our healthcare management system with attention to detail and accuracy
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues to the appropriate healthcare specialists when needed
- Adhere to all healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA and data protection standards
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare policies, procedures, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while handling sensitive healthcare information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus but not required
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Strong listening skills and ability to empathize with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to work in shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by healthcare operations
