Responsibility
- Assist in the commissioning, testing, and validation of marine and electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during system integration.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including test reports, schematics, and operational manuals.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks and functional tests on equipment such as generators, switchgear, and control panels.
- Support the installation and calibration of instrumentation and monitoring systems.
- Participate in site inspections and safety audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and project requirements.
- Assist in the development of commissioning plans and timelines in coordination with project managers.
- Provide technical support during system handover and client training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in commissioning, testing, or system integration (internships or academic projects accepted).
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, marine systems, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, SOLAS).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
- Familiarity with testing tools and software (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, LabVIEW) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Bali as required.
