Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers) during night shift hours.
- Perform real-time network performance analysis and proactively identify/mitigate potential outages or bottlenecks.
- Configure, deploy, and optimize Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking hardware and software solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to escalate and resolve critical network incidents with minimal downtime.
- Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports for audit and knowledge-sharing purposes.
- Assist in network capacity planning and scalability assessments to support business growth.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance windows for patches, upgrades, and system migrations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations, support, or engineering.
- Proven expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and QoS configurations.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-based networks (AWS/Azure).
- Ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10 PM – 6 AM) with occasional weekend coverage.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management frameworks is a plus.
