Responsibility
- Oversee daily maintenance and repair operations for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of retail locations to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, renovations, or installations.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for reporting and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in retail or commercial environments.
