Responsibility
- Lead the setup, calibration, and maintenance of VTS lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Conduct comprehensive media testing and validation to meet Seagateâs rigorous quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in testing processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab operations to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Analyze test data and generate detailed reports to support product development and quality assurance.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on VTS systems and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in data storage and testing methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations in all lab activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in lab testing, media validation, or storage technology (preferably in hard drive or SSD environments).
- Hands-on experience with VTS, ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), or similar testing systems.
- Strong knowledge of data storage principles, magnetic media, or semiconductor testing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
