Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team to achieve production targets, quality benchmarks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to align engineering strategies with business goals, driving innovation and scalability.
- Monitor and optimize production workflows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance productivity.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations (e.g., ISO, OHSA) across all engineering operations.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for engineering projects and equipment procurement.
- Spearhead R&D initiatives to introduce new technologies, materials, or methodologies that improve product performance and sustainability.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and quality control (e.g., TQM, Kaizen).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholder at all levels.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, OSHA) and auditing processes.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work permit support provided for eligible candidates).
