Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and sewage systems.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently to minimize downtime and disruptions to hotel operations.
- Install and upgrade plumbing components as needed to enhance system performance and compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to conduct preventive maintenance and ensure long-term reliability of plumbing infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing requests from guests or staff, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of plumbing supplies and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while handling hazardous materials or working in confined spaces.
- Assist in training and supervising junior maintenance staff on plumbing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or commercial sector.
- Certification or vocational training in plumbing, HVAC, or a related engineering field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, blueprint reading, and system diagnostics.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized plumbing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, or working in tight spaces.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 hotel operations.
