Responsibility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment performance and implement process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with preventive maintenance (PM) programs and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document and report maintenance activities clearly.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in an industrial environment.
