Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of End-of-Life (EOL) strategies for consumer products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to coordinate product transitions, inventory management, and customer communications.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives to minimize excess stock, reduce costs, and mitigate risks associated with EOL processes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for EOL programs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform EOL decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on EOL progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Implement risk management frameworks to proactively address potential disruptions in product transitions.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and metrics related to EOL performance, including cost savings, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Masterâs degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Supply Chain, with a focus on EOL processes.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment, preferably in the consumer electronics or storage industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with inventory management, demand forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
