Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and evaluation of application PCBAs for power systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to deliver high-performance PCB solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to validate design concepts and optimize system performance.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to verify the functionality, reliability, and durability of PCB assemblies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on best practices in PCB design and evaluation.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality components and ensure timely procurement for project execution.
- Document technical specifications, design changes, and test results to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in PCB design and power systems to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in PCB design, development, and evaluation, preferably in the power systems or electronics industry.
- Proven expertise in PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or KiCad) and simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, analog/digital circuits, and embedded systems.
- Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IPC, UL, CE) and regulatory compliance for PCB assemblies.
